I've raised £1000 to help fund an arts & crafts workshop to raise awareness for our small garden birds and in aid of wildlife charities, RSPB & Enfield WRAS.

I love wildlife and have done since I was a child. But the older I grew the more out of touch I became. Only recently, have I taken the time to breathe and actually look at my green surroundings and the birds that inhabit "our spaces". In one dawn chorus walk, we were told that we heard and saw around 23 species of birds, can you name them all? Grey Wagtails, Firecrest, Goldfinches and Long-tailed tits (All new to me!).
I know of the more common Robin, Blue Tit and and everyone has heard of the Nightingale, Cuckoos but numbers of these species are in decline (40%-70% in recent years) mainly due to loss of habitat. Charities like RSPB (Royal Society for the Protection of Birds) are doing amazing things to help give nature a home. There's so much in nature to discover and I want my children to have the opportunity to discover these species for themselves in years to come.
I am organising a Arts & Crafts workshop on the 27th May 2018 at Forty Hall Farm to raise awareness to our small garden birds, together we can make this happen, so join me and let's Get Creative for Nature and make a difference. Even the smallest of donations can help. Thank you!
Lots of love
