If you can't chage the world, change your world
Discovr Project is a fundraising initiative to bring Virtual Reality to patients and caregivers - from favourite holiday destinations, to bucket-list landmarks or even outer-space - Discovr Project will help patients explore and discover new worlds outside their hospice bed.
The staff and volunteers at our local hospice do incredible work in Essex helping people with an incurable illness to live well and die with dignity - the support they offer to families before and after bereavement is invaluable to the community. Discovr Project will help improve patient well-being through the latest virtual reality technology.
The money raised will be used to purchase a Samsung Gear VR Headset, Samsung Galaxy S6 smartphone, sim-card & headphones + additional Google PlayStore Gift-Card. Any additional money raised above what is used to purchase the above will be donated directly to our local hospice to fund their charitable work.
