Take up the Challenge join us? For Breast cancer and Prostate Cancer research, make a difference.
Phil Catchpole, president of Diss Rotary Club, hands over the chain of office on July 7th but before he does he is walking the entire length of the Boudicca way [Diss to Norwich] and back again!! 72 miles nonstop.
Duncan Slater, double amputee, local Afghan war veteran and help for heroes ambassador is taking part and will start the challenge with Phil.
The walk will be starting at the Market Place in Diss following the Boudicca Way all the way to Norwich railway station before returning to Diss.
Phil Says “its a huge challenge and raising money for two very worthy charities“ The Boodicca Breast Cancer Appeal and Tigertesting for agressive Prostate Cancer at the UEA. “Many people are affected by these illnesses and early diagnosis leads to much better outcomes“ said Phil.
You can help in one of two ways!
You can sponsor Phil who is taking on the 72 mile walk from Diss to Norwich and back along the Boudicca way OR you can join him on the challenge walking all or part of the route and asking friends/family to sponsor you.
