Weʼve raised £0 to help injured ex-racing greyhounds find new homes as pets

    Story

Every year thousands of racing greyhounds are discarded in the UK and small independent charities try to find them new homes to start life anew as a pet. With vet costs spiralling it can be tough for those charities to meet the cost for dogs who need extra medical attention before they can be adopted.

Our dog Dizzee was one of those, he broke his leg at the track and faced months of rehabilitation and surgery costing thousands of pounds. Our friends dug deep to ensure the funds were there if needed.

As a thank-you we'd like to be able to offer other rescue groups the chance to apply for extra help by setting up Dizzee's Forever Fund - a place rescue groups can come to when they need a little more than they have in the pot.

Without the support of others our boy might have become just another broken ex-racer condemned to an early death, help us make sure he is not alone!
