Isobel my Beautiful Gt Dane has torn her Cruciate Ligament trying to chase a Squirrel up a tree. ( this ligament is like the knee joint in a human and does much the same thing, it is a very painful thing when it is injured) X-rays show she needs the injury repaired with metal plates to stabilise the joint and allow her to walk and stand without pain. Ultimately to run and enjoy life again.

Isobel does have insurance but the Insurers are refusing to pay. This has been challenged, without success. Her Vets are : Vets1 Downham Market. All moneys raised ( minus fees to Fundraising company) ( a copy of fees can be shown) will go to the veterinarian practise who will perform her surgery.

The recovery period for this surgery is 8/9 weeks. We have a long road ahead.

Isobel is a Rescue girl who started her life somewhere in London, but at 7 months old ended up in Battersea Dogs Home. Arriving as a very nervous and skinny excuse of a Gt Dane pup. Apparently the other dog in the house hold was a small terrier who did not take kindly to Isobel's arrival. It would not allow her to eat and Isobel was constantly being beaten up by this much smaller dog. Bit of a 'wimp' my Girl.
