I've raised £1000 to support Ashton Hulme's 'Leg for Life' campaign.

The team at DJH Mitten Clarke will be running the Potters Arf' Marathon on 26th September to support local boy Ashton Hulme in his fight against Osteosarcoma.
Ashton is an incredibly active young boy, playing a range of different sports, with his favourite being football! Unfortunately, towards the end of 2020, Ashton was diagnosed with a rare type of bone cancer in his fibula, something that affects only 50 children in the UK every year.
Due to his condition, in March 2021 Ashton underwent surgery to amputate his lower leg and has since had to undergo an intensive course of aggressive chemotherapy.
Ashton's positive spirit and motivation to get back on the football pitch is truly inspiring, however the cost of a prosthetic leg suitable for sports costs upwards of £40k and the regular replacements due to his young age means this will be a lifelong financial burden.
Friends of his family have started a fundraising initiative to provide Ashton with a 'Leg for Life', and this is where all of the proceeds raised from our team running the Potters Arf' will go.
