I'm running the Arc of Attrition 25 mile race (https://arcofattrition.utmb.world/races/Arc25-NEW ) on the coastal paths of Cornwall on January 25th to raise money for Djinack Elementary School in Senegal.

We recently visited the wonderful but struggling school in a fishing village on an island in Senegal bordering with The Gambia, supported by their community leader Djere Sonko. The school and village have no daytime electricity, and are frequently under resourced. Despite this, the children perform well, value learning highly and are keen to continue their education beyond the island. This fundraiser is to help the village maintain and resource the school for the next academic year.
