Depression and mental health problems has reached epidemic proportions. However, we are still largely mystified about the actual nature of the problem.Depression and mental illness are two conditions that have an image as well as an identity problem. This documentary is unique because (unlike most other documentaries) it's purpose isn't just limited to the re-telling of the depression or mental health story.
'D-Junction' is designed to be ultimately used as an intervention mechanism that will benefit individual's at the most vulnerable and most critical point in their lives.
'D-Junction' is testimony-based and is designed to help build an individual's resilience from within. With 'D-Junction' there's a possibility that you may never reach that critical point where you desperately require outside help, because your own internal coping mechanisms will have dealt with the situation.
'D-junction'is supposed to be a parachute that deploys before trouble strikes.
The complete documentary will be placed online so that it can be freely available to everyone at any time of day or night and for as long as possible. This 90-Minute documentary is being produced on a very tiny budget, but even so I still need this amount in order to complete the project. As soon as the funds are available, this documentary will be completed and immediately placed online so that it will freely be accessed by everyone who needs it. Of course, I will continue to place regular updates. You will immediately be informed as soon as the documentary is ready and made available online. Many thanks in advance for your kind co-operation.
