Story

Meet Jacob. He is a beautiful three year old boy. He has recently been disgnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) is a severe type of muscular dystrophy, the symptoms of muscle weakness usually begin around the age of 4 in boys and worsens quickly. Most are unable to walk by the age of 12. DMD affects around 1 in 5,000 males, is a life limiting condition and at present has no cure.

It will significantly reduce his mobility and quality of life and we would like to raise money for Dmd research and for Jacob to support his needs and give him some fantastic memories along the way.

Through a series of local events in County Durham we hope to raise money and awareness for this condition.

Our first event is a 24 hour dart pool domino marathon at the local pub where Jacob’s dad plays darts . This event will be June 30th 6am until Sunday 1st 6am .
