    Story

Hello Friends, I am in need of your help! a month ago Dobby fell down five stairs and fractured three fingers, displacing two (you can see his first xray in the top image and his second xray, taken a month later in the second photo above). Two fractures have healed, but his little finger is still broken. Dobby is insured, but in the minefield that is insurance, I bought cover that only pays for up to £500 per issue, and this has already been exceeded. The current total at the vet is £583.59. The orthopaedic specialist at the vets has suggested that Dobby remains in a cast (That is changed every five days) for another month as the surgeon thinks it will heal with strapping, but if after this month there is no further improvement, Dobby will need surgery to pin his finger back in place. I am hoping that, however small, a few of you can help towards the cost of rehabilitating my boy. I'd be so grateful for your help and understanding. He's so precious and fun loving and I'm desperate to help him but as a single parent student, things are tight. Thanks you for yout love and support x it really is appreciated x x x x Dobby is grateful too, he sends his thanks x x

Dobby has had his cast removed today....I'm so pleased he healed! There was the very real chance he'd have needed surgery so we're delighted! Thank you so much for your support.....You're all beautiful people ♥️

Thank you to the people who have donated to Dobby so far. We are so grateful. I raised £50 towards his bill by doing a car boot sale. Dobby is doing well, he's been in his cast for 6 weeks so far, and will be having two more cast changes before his next x-ray. The x-ray alone costs £133 as he has to be sedated because you cannot reason with him to lay still! Dobby and I still need help from my lovely, kind and understanding animal loving, compassionate friends - Your help will not go unnoticed, Karma will treat you well x
