I've raised £2000 to help make David a doctor.

In 2013 I visited Uganda to spend a month working in Kakira Hospital near Jinja ahead of impending medical school applications. During this time I met David Kabare; an enthusiastic, intelligent and talented medical student who went above and beyond to introduce me to and help me navigate the small rural hospital we were working in.
Despite David coming from the poorest conditions his resolute will had enabled him to save up enough to start a medical course at Kampala international hospital, where he was doing well and was on track to become a doctor. Unfortunately, David was not able to finish that course, as a lack of funding made it impossible and he had to drop out, taking work in a health centre hours away hoping to make up enough to enter the next year. However, once again, David couldn't make the £2000 to reenter the course and had to drop out permanently.
Now, five later as I am entering my penultimate year of medschool, funded by the British government and the NHS, I want the to give David at least something of the same opportunities I have had, and help him achieve his dream of becoming a doctor.
