Hello,

My name is Rob Evans and I am a member of Dolgellau Athletic Amateur Football Club's very passionate committee. Together we take great pleasure in trying our best to develop and increase the standard of football in the area of Dolgellau.

As a committee we have highlighted that a perimeter fence around the first team pitch would secure our assets, improve health and safety and allow ourselves to complete further essential developments.

By increasing the standard of our facilities we also believe it will help and aspire future generations of players, coaches and volunteers to take the club to higher playing levels, attracting better competition and bigger audiences. The more we thrive as a club the more the town will thrive from an economical and social well being point of view. The higher level we play, the bigger the travelling support, bringing more visitors into our beautiful town. The better we operate the more we can invest into our junior set up and support our players, parents and coaches in providing the best learning and playing experiences. We want to be in a position where we would be likelier in attracting volunteers for new teams such as under 19s, womens and disability. The benefits stretch further than our football club, and luckily, thanks to committee member Glyn Roberts, Sport Wales are supporting our vision by offering a £15k grant, 50% of the project cost.

And this is where we now need your further support in making the most of this opportunity to reduce if not achieve the shortfall and successfully help us complete our goal for all of Dolgellau
