My name is Dominic Chiverton I am 52 and from Mansfield. I am helping to raise money by boxing on a dinner show on December 3rd 2016. I will be boxing another novice boxer who is 20 plus years my junior over 3x2 minute rounds. The people I am raising money for are Rumbles catering. They are a small project that offers support, training and paid employment opportunities to people with autism, learning disabilities and disadvantaged backgrounds. Through the year they have to raise a lot of money to help them buy training materials and equipment to ensure they continue to provide a much needed resource for the communities they support.
At the same time I will also be raising money for a young local girl who needs a operation. Her name is Irya Austen and suffer from cerebral palsy. The operation she requires is not available on the nhs so her parents have had to raise the funds themselves. So I will be donating part of the money to this cause.
