Half Marathon Run/Walk to Help The Slum Children of Dharavi - Sunday 12th January

Last year over 50 people took part in the Donate4Dharavi Charity Run/Walk and we raised over £3000! And guess what? We are going to do it all again this January and raise more money so that we can continue to sponsor our teacher Komal, as well as buy other desperately needed resources for the kids in the Dharavi slum. It's been wonderful receiving quarterly reports on Komal's progress as a teacher and how she has implemented what she has learnt in her training. To carry on her important work with the children, we need your help!

As before there are various distances to run and finishing with a lap of the lido for those who prefer to walk. The date is Sunday 12th January. Starting at 9am the in West Harrow Park and finishing around 11.20am at the Lido. Run options are Half Marathon ( West Harrow), 10k (Hatch End), 6k (Eastcote House Gardens), 4k (Running Track) and 2km lido walk.

As before there’s no entry fee, just ask that you join in, have fun and make a small donation on this Just Giving page. The Waters Edge Pub have kindly offered to host us again after the event for refreshments. All I need from you at this stage is a YES and what distance you would like to run/walk. If you have any friends that would like to take part please can you let me know their details so I can add them to the Whatsapp group.
