Story
The Donkey Field Pre-School is a registered charity (1035097).
The pre-school first opened its doors in Crawley Down Village on 26th February 2001 to fulfil a need within the local community for the early years learning provision for under 5s.
Recently there has been a number of heart related incidents within the school grounds and around the local area. As a result it came to light that there isn't a defibrillator facility within a sensible reaching distance from the pre-school therefore leaving the children and staff vulnerable.
No-one likes to think that when they leave their child in the care of someone else that the facility doesn't have access to technology that may potentially save their life, especially when it is readily available to buy. Having this within the facility will ensure that all 74 children at the pre-school, 375 at the school as well as the staff and families living within the surrounding area have the reassurance that this machine brings with it.
Defibrillator machines are regularly available in built up towns and cities but unfortuanlty in smaller villages they are placed further apart and as they are privately funded there is no control over how or where they are placed.
We don't want to suffer a fatality simply because we don't have the money to offer a suitable solution.
Please support us in our quest to raise this small amount of money to make a massive difference.
