Adventure Aid create adventures which bring people together from different walks of life in their common goal to help small childrens’ charities across Asia and Africa and in doing so changing their lives forever. This “school bag“ project will form part of my duties. I will be visiting schools and will be distributing the bags containing all the necessary resources for the child to learn (pads, pens, lunch box etc). I will also be taking clothes for the children.

This is a perfect project for me to get involved in, with each “school in a bag” costing £17. The aim is to personally deliver as many bags as possible. I can‘t tell you how much I am out of my comfort zone! The trip will deliver the most amazing adventure with 4 x 4 travel along mountainous very bumpy tracks, treking each day, home cooked food, camping out, waking up to some amazing scenery, a great team environment and the chance to explore Kathmandu, but most of all make a difference in the lives of the children and their families who were affected with the earthquake disaster last year.

I leave on 20th October 2018 for an adventure of a lifetime!

Fundraising has started already, but want to achieve an additional £500 to be able to buy as many bags as possible as well as posters and equipment for the classrooms. Anything you are able to donate through this page will be going directly to the childen, however small, thank you so much.
