Story

2 years ago, Gemma Potts, then only 26 years old, sustained an injury at an equestrian event. From that moment Gemmas life drastically changed and would never be the same again. Gemma is now tetraplegic and living in a nursing home, requiring 24 hour care and full support with her complex needs. She is returning home very soon and will need lots of equipment, round the clock care and ongoing therapies, costing a large sum of money. Gemma would also love to go to steps, an intensive rehabilitation centre in Sheffield for a stay of up to 12 weeks costing approximately £114,000.
This is where we come in. We have got to know Gemma well after her injury. Despite everything that has happened, Gemma has remained so positive and focused on her recovery and enjoying life. Gemma is truly inspirational and our lives are so much better for knowing her. We want to do our bit in helping Gemma achieve her goals so we will be doing a skydive on 2nd June to raise money to go towards whatever Gemma needs once back at home or to go towards the cost of the Steps program. All money raised will go to Gemma as we are self funding the skydive so nothing comes out of the funds raised. Please help us to help our beautiful Gemma, she deserves this so much.
