Hi myself and my dancers from Burlesque Chair Dance Mansfield Woodhouse Clowne and Creswell are holding two events to raise money for a 7 year old boy called Jacob he is a local boy from Nottinghamshire. Who is battling a rare form of cancer and treatment is very expensive. The family were also turned down with funding. They were supported too by a fantastic organisation called The give a duck foundation which we would also like to support too.

The events we are holding are this October 10th 2026 Burlesqathon a 6 hour back to back sponsored dance to a variety of class routines.

2nd event is a Burlesque show organised and will be in June 2027.

Proceeds from both events will go to Jacob's family, to help with incurred expenses as Jacob battles a cancerous medulloblastoma brain tumour, that is impacting his spinal cord.

The money will help his parents Jason and Lucy, with such expenses as hospital travel, overnight stays, and other ongoing financial pressures.

The money from raffles during these events will go your way The give a duck foundation who help children like Jacob across the UK and family members too. Children are given a chemo duck they get to keep and take on their journey with them and siblings get a duck too.
