Story

Entering my first Muay Thai boxing competition isn't just about personal challenge—it's a platform to advocate for something deeply important. As a mother raising a daughter, I'm acutely aware of the realities women face every day. That's why I've chosen to support a local charity, Hillingdon Women's Centre during my 8-week Fight Camp leading up to Fight Night on Saturday 8th June. Recent UN statistics underscore the urgent need for organisations like HWC: a woman is killed by a man every three days in the UK, and one in four women will experience domestic violence in her lifetime. By rallying behind HWC, I'm not just stepping into the ring for myself, but for every woman who deserves the right to live in safety, free from fear and violence.

HWC's mission is to provide a confidential, safe, and welcoming space for all women in Hillingdon and surrounding areas. They offer a place where women can access information, tools and holistic support. Run by women, for women.
