I am the Music Teacher and ‘Dungeon Master’ at King Edward VI Academy in Spilsby, Lincolnshire, and I am going to go Sober for October to raise money for our 3 Dungeons and Dragons Clubs at school. This money will go towards resources to enhance the unique stories we are creating together and to teach students how to DM their own groups, providing leadership and organisation skills.

Dungeons & Dragons (or D&D) is a fantasy tabletop role-playing game (RPG) that encourages problem solving, improves numeracy and literacy skills, and provides a safe space for students to come together to make friends and discover themselves. The D&D club at school has become so popular already this year that we have had to split it into 3 seperate clubs, each with their own unique characters and stories.
