- Breast Cancer Now: After having a masectomy in her 70s, Dorothy championed the cause and even 'modelled' for the charity at fundraisers.

- The Orphans in Sri Lanka: Buddini and Dhillini were two young girls on their way to see their grandmother when their train was struck by the Tsunami in 2004. They survived because their parents placed them in the luggage rack on the carriage they were in. The parents did not. Buddini has now completed university and is married with a small baby. Dhillini is stlll at college and we are helping her until she finishes.
