Story
We at DOSportUK believe that sport should be inclusive for everyone! We run a series of inclusive basketball sessions across Greater Manchester aimed at people with an intellectual disability and/or autism. However our doors are wide open to anyone who wants to come and play basketball in a fun, friendly and social environment!

Sessions like the Manchester Eagles (pictured above) run each week and allows our members to come and play basketball in safe environment. Our network of sessions across the two areas we work in provide opportunities for improving peoples physical, mental, and social well being!
Also we work closely with Special Olympics Great Britain and Basketball England to create competitive opportunities for all ages and abilities and showcase their talents at a local, regional, national, and even international level!
All of this work does come at quite a cost paying for venue hire and coaching fees, and each year prices keep creeping up. Our lovely team of members, families, volunteers, and coaches are all banding together to cover 100 miles at Denmark Road Sports Centre on Sunday 20th August to try and raise money and awareness of our programme!
**UPDATE**
Our wonderful team not only did the 100 miles in the sports centre but the lovely people contributing from a far also chipped in an incredible 43 miles so overall we smashed 143 miles in one day!
