Story

I'm a junior doctor based in orthopaedics at the Bristol Children's Hospital, and I want to raise money to support the hard work of all the staff. My daughter and nephew have both been patients there, and we were impressed with the kind and supportive care received.

The Bristol Orthopaedic Trust is a charity that supports research into bone and joint disease in children and adults, including broken bones, osteoporosis and joint replacements. This research will contribute towards helping improve the quality of life of both children and adults with bone and joint disease.

I'm a keen runner and having two children hasn't stopped me - I'm running the Abingdon Marathon on the 21st October whilst pushing my two children, Daniel and Emilia, in a buggy! My first aim is to finish, my second target is the world record of 3 hrs 9 mins..

Please think about sponsoring me to do this and all money raised will go to support both of these charities:

-The Grand Appeal (Bristol Children's Hospital)

-The Bristol Orthopaedic Trust

If you want to give me more incentive, then why not pledge a bigger donation if I finish in a certain time?
