We are a dedicated team from 1st Shinfield Scouts, preparing to embark on an incredible journey this September. Our group of 20 enthusiastic young adventurers, aged 6 to 14, will be taking on a challenging 12km hike through the historic Silchester Roman town, the beautiful Pamber Forest, and Mortimer West End. This trek is no small feat — it will test the endurance and spirit of even our youngest members, pushing them beyond their limits in a way that builds resilience and confidence.

We are raising £2,500 to cover essential hut costs such as transportation, safety equipment, and supplies that will ensure every child can participate safely and fully in scouting for the forseeable future
