I've raised £1000 to Help Preserve a Douglas Dakota C-47B Mk IV Aircraft

Help to keep this aircraft in service. The Dakota served in all theatres and took part in all major airborne operations of world war II. This aircraft is one of the last two in service. Please help to keep this amazing aircraft in an operational condition. She is currently based in Colchester and is a living memorial for the Parachute Regiment.
I will be Running/Tabbing in a virtual event Para-10 Colchester on 7th November 2020.
For this event I have to Tab 10 miles in full military kit in Boots carrying a minimum of 35lb in weight plus water and food.
I will Tabbing the 10 miles from WWII Memorial Polboke to Ferry Meadows Peterborough. I will be setting off at 1030am and hope to get to Ferry Meadows in about 2 hours so please donate to show your support.
My good Friend Sgt James Kilbride and WO2 Neil Fraser will be setting off for their 10 milers at the same time in Colchester from the site of the Dakota.
