Funded on Sunday, 11th December 2016

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Help raise funds for Ms. Lulue Chea, who broke her spine and fractured her left arm when she was hit by a car, whilst crossing the street, in Liberia. In Liberia, there are no surgeons specializing in spinal operations and she needs this urgent life saving operation.

Because her parents are poor, some friends of her's sold some of their possessions, raised $7,300 US Dollars and airlifted her to a specialist hospital, Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, in Accra, Ghana.

She has been examined, x-rayed and admitted since 3 months.

The hospital is now charging $4, 500 to perform the operation but her family and friends are only left with $600 after using the amount raised on airfares for Lulue, who was stretchered. Her mother accompanied her.

The hospital has threatened to discharge her from their wards if the money is not deposited into their accounts.

Lulue cannot walk. She has been bedridden since the accident 3 months ago and is beginning to sustain bed sores. Her condition is worsening everyday.

I am urgently appealing to you for your donations to help Lulue Chea undergo this life saving operation on her spinal cord and left arm. Before the accident, Lulue was full of life, generous to all who she came across and always smiling.

We are afraid, if Lulue discharged without this operation being carried out her condition may deteriorate and she may lose her life.

Please help raise funds for Lulue Chea and save her life.

You can help by DONATING to or SHARING this. It takes little droplets of rain to make a mighty ocean. Every little you donate will help save her life.

      Update from the Page owner

A big thanks to all those who's contribution has lead to the life-saving operation urgently needed by Lulue Chea. Through you thoughts, prays and donation, we have barely managed to purchase spinal implants and settle the costs of her operation. We have been informed that her operation has been scheduled for 13 December, 2016. We ask that you keep her in your prayers. After her operation, she will begin the process of recovery. Cash for prescription drugs is highly needed. Thanks for you donations and please keep giving. God Bless.
