I've raised £2000 to support Velindre Cancer Care & fund new grounds equipment at Dinas Powys Cricket Club by completing the "Active April" Exercise Challenge

UPDATE- Following the outstanding response & team success so far we will now be trying to do 9000 miles in April. On Sat Apr 10th we were already beyond our 3000 mile target
Dinas Powys Cricket Club is taking part in the "Active April" Exercise Challenge. Together as a team, we aim to clock up 3000 miles of exercise across the month of April 2021, which is like doing the whole of Route 66 across America
That's a team total of 100 miles per day!!!!
So we need as many people to get involved as possible to help us reach our target. You could cycle, walk, run or even swim to help us get there!
It's a no brainer to join the challenge as it helps to keep you fit, raises much needed funds for your local cricket club and for a fantastic, worthy cause in Velindre Cancer Care too!
The final proceeds raised here will be split 50/50 between Dinas Powys Cricket Club and Velindre Cancer Care and we've set an initial, ambitious fundraising target of £1000. But thanks to your kind donations so far we have upped the target to £1500 so please keep supporting us!

The challenge will begin on April 1st but you can sign up any time throughout the month but we want all your miles recorded so please try to sign up before then to ensure every mile counts!
