Damien Poole Theatre Arts was created 3 years ago to give young people in Yorkshire as many opportunities in the Theatre Arts as possible. With over 200 students who have taken part in our classes from the age of 4 - 73, and as we are coming up to performing our 10th Showcase, we would love to create a new class, 'Show Class' in which students audition for a part in a Full Musical, and rehearse weekly for the performance/s. We believe this would be an incredibly enriching experience for our students, and will enhance the Showcases we already perform each term.

A full musical, with full purchase of the rights, with mics, costume, crew, a band, and an experience of a traditional theatre, hopefully, Harrogate Theatre for this DPTA Production. We would slowly make make money via each student participating, paying £5 a class/rehearsal needed, however we desperately need the finance to buy the rights to a Musical to get us going, which costs approx £1,500, with a deposit for the theatre of £500. All other monies made through the classes/rehearsal would go towards mics, costume etc, with ticket sales going towards the next show! (hopefully this will run and run from there onwards!)
