Story

There is an emergency in Ukraine due to the Russian invasion. Many refugees and many injured through fighting. Breakdown of transport, supply chains and communication networks are leading to shortages of necessities, and first aid supplies are particularly needed to help those wounded.

In collaboration with British Ukrainian Aid, we are raising money for logistics and have contacts close to the border with Poland who can receive items to distribute to refugees and first aid posts and hospitals and we will be able to confirm that they have been received before sending more in due course.

Many items have been kindly collected but additional funds are needed to help with the logistics of transporting things, for example paying delivery drivers and vehicle hire, and for buying specific specialist items that we have been unable to source through donations.

Should there be funds leftover, they will be donated to Ukrainian charities.
