We run Dragonfly, a community-minded cafe in Tavistock, Devon. Any profit made from our food and drink sales is ploughed back in to support various projects. We also have a quarterly art exhibition where local artists can exhibit, and are currently developing a programme of workshops, talks and classes.

Our crowdfunding page is set up to collect donations for our 'Dragonfly Arts Fund'. In difficult economic times, it is often the arts which suffer, so we would like to support local people to access the arts. We have a small group of people who process the applications and allocate small grants. It might be for the cost of a theatre ticket for a young person, or to pay for a local dance class for an older member of our community.

The arts are really important, let's keep supporting them.
