We’re raising money for Alzheimer’s Society to help support those living with dementia and the families who face this devastating disease every day.

Alzheimer’s affects so many people, leaving families heartbroken as they watch their loved ones change. This year, I’ve watched my mum struggle more than ever, and it breaks my heart every single day.

The last few years have been incredibly difficult. It was a long and painful journey just to get Mum to see a doctor, and an even longer one to receive the right diagnosis, support, and medication. The emotional toll on her and our family has been immense.

Although she is now receiving the care and treatment she needs, it’s hard knowing that if she had been diagnosed and started on medication sooner, it could have made a real difference to her quality of life.

By taking on this challenge, I hope to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society while also raising awareness of the importance of recognising the signs early, seeking medical help, and ensuring people receive the right support and treatment as soon as possible.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help fund vital research, provide support for families, and bring us one step closer to a world where no one has to face Alzheimer’s alone.
