Noi suntem Dra.ma - Acting for Life, o asociație care crede că arta poate schimba vieți.

Prin ateliere, masterclass-uri, tabere și un concurs annual de scurtmetraje și scenarii dedicate adolescenților și copiilor, îi ajutăm pe tineri să-și transforme emoțiile și trăirile în film, teatru și povești care contează.

Anul acesta, lansăm campania Dra.ma - Giving for Life, o strângere de fonduri de £500 pentru a susține premiile ediției a 4-a a concursului de scurtmetraje și scenarii Dra.ma, cu tema Povești din Comunitatea Mea și printre altele, pentru a o ajuta pe câștigătoarea marelui premiu, să ajungă la Londra.

Iar pentru noi, e dovada că munca noastră are sens: Când un tânăr își vede filmul pe marele ecran, învață că vocea lui are valoare.

De aceea, fiecare donație contează. Fiecare contribuție înseamnă o oportunitate pentru un tânăr să creadă în sine, să se exprime, să-și ducă povestea mai departe, dincolo de orașul sau țara din care a pornit.

Fondurile strânse vor acoperi:

• Premiul cel mare: excursia de 3 zile la Londra și proiecția filmului câștigător la Institutul Cultural Român – £360

• Curs online de filmmaking oferit de British Film Institute (BFI) – £60

• Carte de specialitate în actorie – £30

• Masterclass de actorie personalizat – £50

Help us take young creative voices further

We are Dra.ma - Acting for Life, a creative education project that believes art can truly change lives. Through workshops, masterclasses, camps and annual short film and screenplay competition, we help young people turn their emotions and experiences into stories that matter, through film, theatre, and authentic self-expression.

This year, we’re launching Dra.ma – Giving for Life, a fundraising campaign to raise £500.

The funds will support the awards for the 4th edition of the Dra.ma Short Film and Screenplay Annual Competition, themed Stories from My Community. They will also help this year’s grand prize winner to travel to London and see their film on the big screen.

And for us, it’s a reminder of why we do what we do: when a young person sees their film on the big screen, something simple but powerful happens, they learn that their voice counts.

That’s what Dra.ma – Giving for Life is all about: giving young creators the courage and the resources to share their stories with the world.

• Grand Prize: a 3-day trip to London and screening of the winning film at the Romanian Cultural Institute – £360

• A professional acting book for aspiring young performers – £30
