I've raised £5000 to provide school uniforms for children in Costa Rica.

Drop Dead are a unisex clothing brand from Sheffield, UK. We have teamed up with Akin to raise funds to provide school uniforms for children in Costa Rica.
Costa Rica’s poverty rate rose from 5.8% to 7.2%, the highest recorded rate in the last 60 years. Children are unable to attend school because their families cannot afford a school uniform and basic school supplies. As developing countries make it a legal requirement for children to wear a uniform, this can make receiving an education almost impossible for families living on just a few dollars a day
The children in Costa Rica will earn their school uniform by taking part in a service project, for example helping plant gardens, painting buildings or cleaning elderly people’s homes. Akin outsource the making of the uniforms within the Costa Rican area therefore also helping the local economy.
Your donation however big or small will provide these children with an opportunity to receive an education to help change their lives for the better.
Oli has travelled over to Costa Rica with his brother, Videographer/Photographer, Tom Sykes and Founder of Akin, Ben Howells. They visited the children that the donations were going to, along with their families and schools. We will keep everyone updated on the trip along with the progress of the project through the sign up email provided.
