A team of 17 of us — staff and customers from the Duchess of Kent — are coming together to take on a huge challenge for an even bigger cause. On Saturday 27th June, we’ll be climbing Snowdon to raise money for Hope for Harley 💙

Harley is 15 years old and has spent his entire life facing challenges most of us could never imagine. Born with a rare condition called spondylocarpotarsal synostosis, it affects his spine, bones, hearing, and growth. Despite countless surgeries and ongoing medical struggles, Harley remains incredibly brave, strong, funny, and full of love.

After undergoing spinal fusion surgery in 2018, Harley began to experience serious breathing difficulties. Now, he is sadly losing the ability to breathe on his own. His only chance of survival is urgent, lifesaving treatment abroad — treatment that comes with an overwhelming cost of over £2.5 million.

Climbing Snowdon will be a tough challenge for all of us, but it’s nothing compared to what Harley faces every single day. We’re doing this to show our support, raise awareness, and contribute whatever we can to help give Harley the chance he deserves.

Every penny raised through this fundraiser will be added to the main fundraiser after the event, helping to bring Harley one step closer to receiving the treatment he so urgently needs.
