Story

We are an NCS group and for our social action project we are helping improve the Dudsbury Guide Camp to help the local community. 15 acres were first secured in 1931 for the Bournemouth devision of the Girl Guides and since then it has been used many times by many people. It currently has two fully equipped heated buildings to provide indoor facilities and a large un-equipped camping site that we hope to improve that is used for camping for Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Senior Section, Leader Weekends and the Trefoil Guild. By helping out this project you will be giving young girls in the area the opportunity to flourish and grow. This will also be standing for a long time for future generations. A lot of these young people will also become future NCS participants and by doing this you will help them to get a head start. We plan to build a fire pit, a picnic area, a flower garden and possibly a bug house. We need materials like tools, stones, benches and picnic tables so any money is greatly appreciated.
