Chair of Governors running the London Marathon 2023 for the DGGS hardship fund,
At Dover Grammar School for Girls, we are committed to providing support for students who require financial assistance in order to complete their education.
Dover Grammar School for Girls Hardship Fund aims to support families who may be struggling to provide resources to access education at the school and has been designed to be quickly and easily accessed by parents and carers.
The fund is available for students in Years 7 to 11 and will be primarily used to fund smaller item(s) of equipment necessary for education at DGGS. All requests will be considered on a case by case basis.

1 year agoOn the final stages of training now. Raised nearly 70% of target so far. A big thank you to all who have donated so far. Route on Sunday is from Dover with a quick 10km circuit and then out to Deal and Sandwich and back to deal. I should finish at Deal Pier at about mid day. T Shirt should be as below but it isn't here yet! Number of shirt will be V6062.

1 year agoJust completed a 30km training run from Dover to Sandwich via Deal and back. Not too bad but a bit blustery. Thank you to all who have donated so far. nearly reached the 50% mark. Looking at a DGGS school event at the start of next term to raise some much needed funds. Lots of landscape painting ideas on the route.
