Story
Food poverty is a real issue facing many in the UK today. We all take for granted that we can supply ourselves and our families with healthy and regular food, but the reality is that many are struggling to know where their next meal is coming from.
The Country Food Trust supply hot and nutritious meals to those in need who rely on food banks for their next meal.
Meals supplied by the CFT use shot game such as pheasant and partridge.
As countryside enthusiasts who take part in game shooting and work in the shooting/Agri industry, we see that raising money for the CFT not only helps the cause but ensures that country people like ourselves and the shooting community can do our bit, and also open peoples eyes to the benefits of eating shot game, a highly nutritious food source.
