Weʼve raised £777 to help buy a new special needs tricycle for Duncan. The full cost is £2700. Please sponsor Duncan as he rides 50 miles by end of November.

Story

Duncan is happiest when outdoors, and particularly loves being on his tricycle, both as a standalone trike and as a tag-a-long. Sadly he has outgrown his current one, which he has used lots over the last 4 years. Duncan needs a specialist trike that has the steering and braking controlled by an adult, and that can also be converted into a tag-a-long so we can go for family cycle rides. As with all things specialist, there is a price tag to match, and the total cost will be just over £2700.

We are applying to charities for support, but would like to raise at least £1000 ourselves. Duncan will ride 50 miles on his current trike between 25th August and 30th November and we would love it if you would sponsor him please.

We will post regular updates of how many miles he has completed.

An afternoon ride around Tewkesbury and surrounding area means 8 miles more completed of Duncan's sponsored ride. He has now done 41 miles over the last 4 weekends. Just 9 more to go :-) Thank you to all the wonderful people who have sponsored him. With all the support on and offline we are now only £750 away from the total cost.

Unfortunately Duncan has been a little under the weather this weekend, so no additional miles covered. Plans are to do another 10 miles or so next weekend, as long as health and weather allow. Thank you to everyone who continues to sponsor Duncan. :-)

Wow! Well over half way towards the target. Thank you for your continued support. Duncan rode another 12.5 miles today, along with 1.5 miles yesterday. This means he has now completed 33 miles and has 17 miles remaining. Thank you to the person who yesterday sponsored Duncan anonymously. Thank you for your support - we really appreciate it.

A friend of mine was disabled by polio when he was Duncan's age. But it didn't stop him coxing the GB rowing eight when he was a young man. Whatever your dreams, keep aiming high, Duncan!
