DUO are looking to raise funds to purchase 4 new Smart Infuser's for Warwickshire Nuffield Hospital.

We aim to raise £10,000 allowing us to purchase 4x new Plum 360 Infuser which is a dual channel, large volume infusion pump that can be used throughout the hospital and includes specific benefits for oncology infusions. Once we reach our target we intend to purchase the new infusers and donate them directly to the NuffieldHospital themselves.

In today's hospitals there are many challenges faced by everyone such as the exposure to drugs, how to reduce medication errors, preventing infections and reducing drug wastage.

What is an infusion pump?
An infusion pump is a specially designed medical device that is able to deliver fluids such as nutrients and medications into a patient’s body in a stable amount.

Why the new Plum 360?
The all new plum 360 infusion pump is able to deliver the nutrients and medication required by the patients in a much safe and easier way. The new smart air management system reduces the wastage of medication, limits the exposure to hazardous medication, and reducing the risk of contamination by not having to disconnect the patient.
