From 4-12 September 2021 I will participating in the Deloitte Ride Across Britain, riding 960 miles from Lands End to John O Groats.

I feel prepared for the challenge but I expect it will be tough, averaging over 100 miles per day for 9 days. What will keep me going is knowing I'll be raising funds to support children's charities in the UK and abroad through the Advanta Foundation (that, and bananas).

The Advanta Group have generously funded my place in the 2021 Deloitte Ride Across Britain, so every £ donated will go directly to the Advanta Foundation.

The Advanta Foundation was established in 2005 to raise money for children’s charities both in the UK and abroad. Of every £1 raised, 50p is given to charities in the UK and 50p is given to charities overseas. Children’s charities that have benefited include the Children’s Hospice Association for Scotland, The Jeely Piece Club, The Music for Life Program in Kenya, The Tunahaki Foundation in Tanzania, The Catalyst Foundation and the School of Excellence in Namanditi, Tanzania.
