During the violent storm we had on Wednesday 12th Feb, Derek's house was very badly damaged. His bedroom window blew out bringing all the brickwork tumbling down on to his car, which is now a write off. Derek was evacuated along with his neighbours as their houses were deemed unsafe. As you can imagine, Derek (79) is completely devastated and is currently homeless. As Derek was not insured, I decided to set this page up in the hope that we can raise enough money to cover the costs.
