Story

I'm Dylan Tillbrook and I'm from Edinburgh, Scotland and in July 2019, after my first year of university I will be flying off to St. Lucia in South Africa for 2 weeks on a volunteer program with an organisation called VESAbroad. They focus on 3 key areas which are education, construction and conservation within their volunteer programs in order to help the lives of local people and the environment. In my case I will be helping to build houses, classrooms, bathroom blocks within a Khulu village where much of the population are suffering from HIV. Furthermore, I will be helping in local wildlife sanctuaries to aid conservation efforts for species like cheetahs and capture and release of crocodiles. Finally, helping teach English to children in local primary and pre-schools. The money I raise for this trip goes towards building materials and equipment that will all be used during the time I am out there.

In order to experience this great opportunity I need to raise approximately £2200. This is something I have always wanted to do and this trip through VESAbroad gives me the opportunity to help make a difference to those in desperate need of it. Anything you can give is truly much appreciated, our money will be helping a great cause. VESA has helped change the lives of thousands of people over the years across the globe and I look forward to helping be a part of this process.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and I would be extremely grateful for anything you can give
