..….Hi! My name is Danny (some may know me as Dylan), I’m 19 years old and from the UK.

I am hopeful to undergo Female to Male top surgery once I have the funds, I started medically transitioning by taking Testosterone daily since March 2022. This has been a goal of mine ever since I came out and to be able to even be on Testosterone let alone be saving up for top surgery is life changing.

I came out as Transgender to family members and friends in 2015 at the age of 11 and I have been socially transitioning since the age of 13 to these people (I asked to be called my preferred name and pronouns). When I turned 16, I legally changed my name and this had a huge positive impact on me as I finally felt I was becoming who I had wanted to be for many years prior. Ever since I began to identify as Male, I have been very optimistic towards the idea of getting top surgery once I have the money and am able to. This surgery will undoubtedly be one of the most significant changes in my life as it will allow me to finally feel as comfortable as I possibly can within my body and with who I am, which I have struggled with for many years.

I will try and earn as much as possible myself from working but, although I will be earning money, I feel as though I wouldn’t be able to reach my goal for multiple years as I also have to pay for necessities such as food and travel. I understand that it is important that I work as hard as I can to earn enough money for this surgery myself however, support from my family and friends would mean the world to me as I’m sure they all understand how much this means to me and have supported me this far. I realise this goal may seem quite ambitious, which among other reasons is why I had set this up 2 years early.

Even the smallest donation would mean a huge amount to me as this is a surgery I have been thinking about for at least 6 years which i've been very sure about and it will make such a great change in my life.
