I've raised £200 to Get more art, volunteer & event resources to help make Dyslexia FeelGood Funday (DFGF) a more special event by doing a 3K Sponsored Walk!

Dyslexia FeelGood Funday (DFGF) is supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England (DFGF is an Arts Council NLPG project).
We did the walk today and lots of fun was had by all. :)
There were only a few of us, but we had a good old time !!
A GREAT BIG 'THANK YOU' to the Walkers, Andree, and the Anson Primary School mum and girls. Also a MASSIVE 'THANK YOU' to my Access Support staff without whose help much of the event wouldn't be possible.
A HUUUUGE 'THANK YOU'! too to all those who sponsored Andree, myself and the family from Anson Primary School!!
The total now should actually read £335 as there is £45 cash still to add!
We exceeded our target!
Thank you all!

There will also be drop-in arts & crafts stalls, music, food & the chance to mingle with the neurodiverse community in a fun & engaging space.
The Funday is designed to:
-Increase the confidence of dyslexics and the neurodiverse
-Get individuals & families from the dyslexic and neurodiverse community connecting whilst doing fun, energising activities
-Build skills, enable development and help community members to thrive
-Increase well-being
... And basically have a space in which community members both young and more mature, can have LOTS OF FUN!!
