The Crooked Billet is a popular pub in Clapton, East London. Like many such venues it is suffering during the pandemic. Worse, most of the bar staff won't be earning any money, but they'll still need to eat and pay rent.

I'm Nigel, a regular customer, and together with Martin, another regular, we decided to set up a 'virtual tip jar' to help the staff who'd normally be serving us our pints. We've spoken with George at the Crooked Billet who will make sure money raised gets to those staff members who need it most.
