I'm raising £500 for Harrison, our nursery super hero! Harrison was diagnosed with Leukemia just one week before Christmas 2024. This hasn't be easy on Harrison or his family as they adapted to their new life of constant hospital stays and numerous tests. Harrison did not respond well to the first lot of treatment, which as you can imagine, left his family devastated. Harrison began intense chemotherapy treatment, this had a huge impact on Harrison and his family. However, Harrison has since responded well to the intense treatment and is now on maintenance Chemotherapy at home, with the odd hospital stay when required. Harrison is still very susceptible to common childhood illness's so still hasn't been able to return to nursery just yet. Harrison loves to be in his garden at home when he is unable to play around other children, so I am taking part in this years great north run to help support Harrisons family with the completion of his very own space to play.
