In September 2020, after a very difficult few months of learning at home, the pupils and staff of Earlham Primary School returned to a fantastic new school building with state of the art facilities, bright & spacious classrooms, and a learning environment designed to bring out the very best in our wonderful children.

Our attention now turns to our outside space. We are lucky that our school is on a really big site with extensive outdoor space. We already think our school site is a beautiful place for Earlham pupils to enjoy being outside and playing, but what we *really* want is to create an outdoor space that better facilitates the learning of our children. We would like to raise money to create the best outdoor learning environment in London, which would help us to achieve the following:

* To increase opportunities for our children to learn outdoors as much as possible.

* To develop an amazing outdoor learning space that will support play, exploration and supported risk taking and enable cross-curricular links to be made creatively.

* To create an outdoor learning environment that will develop confidence and self-esteem through learner inspired, hands-on experiences in a natural setting.

* To help children to achieve a greater understanding and respect for the natural world around them.

* To provide a reflection space to improve the health and wellbeing of our pupils.

* To create an inspiring outdoor reading area which will inspire encourage children to develop a love for reading.
