Story

Join us in our mission to create a sustainable future for Kigoma, Tanzania, by establishing a tree nursery and educational platform aimed at growing 1.5 million fruit and economic trees. These trees will be distributed to schools, empowering students and communities while promoting environmental stewardship and economic growth. Through developing green areas and experiential learning opportunities, this project will strengthen environmental consciousness and build support for climate action.

Campaign Goals

* Raise £3,800/$5,000 to kickstart the tree nursery and educational initiatives.

* Cultivate 1.5 million trees over the next five years.

* Educate local students on the importance of trees for the environment, economy, and health.

Why this matter? In addition to lowering carbon emissions, planting trees in schools teaches pupils the value of environmental preservation. Through this initiative, Tanzania will have a more sustainable future by enabling young people to take action against climate change.

Why Trees?

1. Environmental Impact: Trees play a crucial role in combating climate change, improving air quality, conserving water, and capturing carbon.

2. Economic Benefits: Fruit trees provide food and income, while timber trees can create jobs and support local economies.

3. Educational Opportunities: Engaging students in tree planting fosters a sense of responsibility and knowledge about sustainability.

Our Plan

1. Establish a Tree Nursery: Set up a facility that will grow a diverse range of fruit and economic trees.

2. Education Platform: Create programs that teach students about forestry, agriculture, and the importance of trees.

3. Community Involvement: Collaborate with local schools and organizations to ensure active participation and support.
