Daniel and I have loved creating our Retreat together for the last 5 years through upcycling and renovating what we can. We welcome guests to nurture in nature and are adding more features to the retreat to make their experience as relaxing and rejuvenating as possible.

Our Retreat is Plant-Based using local and UK products and we really feel this way of life helps not just your own health but the planet and other animals.

We have been hoping to include a small animal sanctuary so all earthlings can heal and enjoy their time here alongside each other. Our goal is to create a safe space where our guests can relate to our resident animals and learn first hand what they are really like.

We recently heard that a local farm urgently wanted to re-home their animals as they couldn't bare sending them to slaughter. We were hoping to adopt the cows by renting a field nearby so organised a visit to the farm. Once there we were told that it wasn't just the cows that need a home but the rescued ponies, horses, sheep, chickens, goose and guinea pigs all need a home. We were hoping to be able to adopt the two cows but a whole lot of animals need our help!

The family is putting the farm up for sale at the end of this month! Whilst visiting we realised they have put 18 years of their life into making this the animals home and we feel passionatly that we could help keep it this way with your support.

We would love to open the doors to all Earthlings and create a Sanctuary Retreat for humans and animals to heal and relax in side by side. We need your help to keep the animals and farm together so we can focus on opening it into a Sanctuary. With your donations we hope to purchase the farm and make this dream a reality.
