I've raised £4200 to Support the relief effort for the September 19th earthquake in Mexico.

The past Tuesday, September 19th at 13:14 hours a 7.1 magnitude earthquake took place in Mexico. It is the deadliest to hit the country in more than 30 years and has brought down many buildings in Mexico City and other states in the republic. It happened 2 days after the 8.1 magnitude earthquake that had already weaken several structures. There have been at least 225 deaths, five of them were students from our school and more are being confirmed every hour, there is still a lot of people trapped under the debris and many of them are children. We need your help.
We are Mexican students from Tec de Monterrey currently living in Cambridge and for us it has been very frustrating to see our families and friends in need while we are far away from Mexico. We believe that we are in this world for the only purpose of helping others, and that is why it has been emotionally draining to know that we could be doing something for them if we were in our country. We keep seeing videos and posts where people are asking for help, they need medical supplies, machinery and food and we simply can’t ignore their situation. So, all we can do is come up with a way of helping Mexico from here.
All money raised will be donated to the Mexican Red Cross.
